about

Scripture put to original music, contemporary folk style

lyrics

The trees of Adonai are full of sap, the cedars of Lebanon He planted
Where the birds make their nest, and the stork calls cypress her home.

The high hills are for the wild goats, the cliffs are refuge for the gopher
He created the moon for moadim: the sun knows its going down.

ADONAI, HOW MANIFOLD ARE YOUR WORKS!
IN WISDOM YOU HAVE MADE THEM ALL.
I WILL SING TO ADONAI AS LONG AS I LIVE
BLESS ADONAI, OH MY SOUL!

You make darkness and it is night, all beasts of the forest creep about
And we all go to work and to labor until it is evening.

The Glory of G-d is forever, Adonai rejoices in His great works,
He looks on the earth and it trembles; He touches the hills and they smoke.
